Santorini's crescent of villages clings to the rim of a volcanic caldera, 300 metres above the sea. Oia and Imerovigli face west, which is why almost every event here is timed around the sunset.

Getting around is easiest by pre-booked transfer: the cliff roads are narrow and parking near venues is limited. Most event venues are a short walk from the caldera path.
